Touching people with my pictures
In addition to my interesting work as a designer of books, exhibitions and stage sets, I have been engaged in painting for several years. The basis for my artistic work is found in questions about our existence. Out of the silence questions arise, to which I seek answers in the form of paintings. I approach painting like meditation, working on a painting for a long time and with steady attention. The themes for my paintings emerge from insights into reality, which serve me as guides while also offering new doors for me. In my paintings I want to touch people and invite them not only to seek fulfilment on the outside, but to turn their gaze inward to discover their essential nature.
