The choir Cantori Contenti staged the piece La Barca as a modern time-travel into 17th-century Italy. Renaissance music met modern canzoni. The centerpiece of the stage design was a huge, airy barque constructed from roof battens, stretching deep into the theater hall. Stranded in the middle of the audience, it served as a stage for the singers.
