Zen-Pilgerreise Japan

Vom 27. September bis 18. Oktober hatte ich die einmalige Gelegenheit, gemeinsam mit den Japankennern Katharina und Paul Shepherd eine Zen-Pilgerreise nach Japan zu unternehmen. Neben dem Besuch des Zen-Zentrums Shinmeikutsu in den Bergen unweit von Tokio – das Pater Hugo Lassalle in den 1970er-Jahren erbaut hat – meditierten wir im San’un Zendo in Kamakura, wo Yamada Roshi unter anderem Niklaus Brantschen, Paul Shepherd und Robert Aitken unterrichtete. Besonders fasziniert hat mich – neben der Freundlichkeit der Japaner – der Kontrast zwischen Tradition und Moderne.

Malen in der Natur

Im malerischen Val Mustair erkundeten wir 4 Tage lang die Landschaft rund um Fuldera mit Ölfarben und Staffelei. So durfte ich Françoise Nussbaumer über die Schultern schauen um das Sehen zu schulen und die Maltechnik zu verfeinern. Danke Françoise für Deine unglaublich wertvollen Tipps und Tricks.

Studio in new hands

It’s Almost Time. At the end of June, I will be handing over my company, Christen Visuelle Kommunikation, to my colleagues Susanne Egli and Diana Lischer. I will continue to work as a consultant for the new studio. Starting in July, I will move into my art space at Untermüli 5, right next door. I am very excited about the upcoming creative time.

ZugFäscht – Exhibition Pavilion
